Running 2003 R2 on DC. I have some users on the network that are very limited they do not have exhchange tasks configured in there AD accounts. I want to create contacts for them and assign there external email address to the contact. I have created the distrib group and the contacts but I can seem to add any contacts to a distrib group. Am I doing something wrong or is this not possible.

Sure can be added contacts to distribution group. Basically the contact means the outside email address but in Properties/E-Mail Addresses also an email in pattern of the own exchange ones.

Technically how you are doing clicking on Distribution group, in Properties/Members and Add button? The new contacts should be there listed
