Cant login to network share from winCE

Hello Experts

i have a windows ce 3.0 device that cant access network shares.
if i try to access the network share like  \\server\folder a login window pops up. iit doesent mather which credential i use it popsup again and again.
i tried a share on server 2008 with domain user and a share on windows xp with local user.
non of them works.

I appreciat any help. thanks

WinCE probably doesn't support 128bit encryption, which is standard on 2008.
you can either downgrade 2008 to 40 bit, or upgrade wince to 128 bit.

how can i lookup which encryption is the client rquesting or what else can i do?

i must mention that the server is sbs2011.

Windows CE apparently cannot browse SMB shares anyway.
I think that you need to map a drive with the net use command.
