wireless fails on HP probook 6560b laptop

this used to work , now when i click on the network icon in the task bar I do not get any wireless networks I just get the picture below  and cannot connect to any wireless

help!

Hi,

It seems that your NB has forgotten the Wireless settings. All you need to do is to click over the Networks available icon and select the desiret AP and enter credentials for it. Then it would connect.

Since it detects wireless networks it does not look like your Wireless adapter is faulty. It is just the forgot the network credentials or you've deleted them accidentally.

No never mind this happens to everybody. Once I've dismantled my notebook only to discover that the adapter mains plug was not fitting correctly :)
