Excel 2010 help with lookup

I have two sheets in an Excel document.

Tab 1 - has pricing history for all items in inventory

Tab 2 - has a list of items that were updated in the last 24 hours

I'm looking to filder tab 1 to only show items that exist on tab 2. How can I do that in Excel?

    add a column on tab1 with the formula


    so something like:

    then autofilter that column for true values

    I ended up using VLOOKUP, but thanks for the sugestion.
