Firstly hope that System Attendant and other Microsoft services are running on the Exchange servers.
Can the users open their mailbox in OWA ?
Any issues with Outlook ?

Can user see or open that additional mailbox in Outlook ?
Check the "Full Mailbox Access".
Do you have one or multiple Exchange server ? Hope both users\mailboxes are on the same Server.

in outlook web access you cannot open additional mailboxes.

OWA only allows you to open your own mailbox nothing else.

If more mailboxes are required to view this is only possible via outlook NOT outlook web access

geocleojohnAuthor Commented:
yes, the user himself can open OWA; the error code occurs when the user clicks on their name in the upper right hand corner of OWA, and enters another users name under Open other mailbox. This function use to work.

@mo_patel: Sorry to disappoint you - since E2000 versions you could open additonal mailboxes (Exchange 5.5 version couldn't help impersonating another account cause of Webdav restrictions) - wake up !!!!!!

What's interestin,  the user can see the other person authorized mailbox in OWA listed under their own; but, cannot open the same one and gets the above error.  I guess they will have to not open it and only view whats listed in the mailboxs authorized to view.

I dont know if its a BUG but it doesnt happen this way .... have to wait to be true ... always wait for some time before you get to the latest RU or SP and check peoples feedback or issues faced.

geocleojohnAuthor Commented:

Manpreet SIngh KhatraSolutions Architect, Project LeadCommented:
:) .... i guess what we can do is wait for next RU .... check what all it fixes and only if required than install it ?

Can you tell me if you have all RU's for Exchange 2010 SP2 ?

- Rancy

geocleojohnAuthor Commented:
yes I have all RUs.  Should I uninstall this last one RU4?
0

Manpreet SIngh KhatraSolutions Architect, Project LeadCommented:
It can be done .... but could pop-up some issue after uninstall so if you want to proceed .... take a backup of Exchange DB and System State ...... I wouldnt personally recommend as only a small function is affected and might be corrected in next RU :)

I guess you can always call MS and just check with them or need to check forums if anyone else after RU4 is facing this issue and whats next. I will also try to check the same from my end and if i do find something will share with you :)
