Hide Fields in ASP.NET DynamicData 4.0

I am playing around with ASP.NET v4.0 DynamicData and what to find a way to hide fields from the details/edit view. I can already hide columns in the grid via ScaffoldColumn=false.

Given that 4.0 is based on FormView, I am unable to use the old iAutoFieldGenerator mentioned in this article, as FormView does not use that.

I want to do this centrally in a class rather than custom pages.

Any ideas?
