what to do after replace new ssd?

hello,
i will replace new ssd in my laptop. it has now bad hdd.
i find in youtube how to replace it. ok after i replace it inside laptop what i have to do?

You should reimage your laptop using the recovery disc that came with the laptop. Otherwise, just install windows. You will likely need drivers for various components. Make sure you have your network drivers at the very minumum.

You'll need the network to connect to the Internet to download other drivers.

what OS do you want to install? and do you have an install, or recovery cd?

if it is an HP -  you need an OEM CD - not sure if the downloading will accept your key

look on the underside sticker - there the model is printed

I agree with "Nobus". You can request a DVD with HP. Than you should run the recovery. I had a desktop from which there were no cd's at the location. I just requested for them with HP and within a few days I was able to run the recovery and the system was in the same state as how it was shipped.
