Citrix Xencenter 6.0.2-53456 and Local storage

I am going for a Citrix certification and have a lab at home that I am using to study with.  I have an HP desktop computer that seems to live up to the specs for the software.  I have two HDs. A 80GB hard drive and a 1TB hard drive.  I installed XS to the 80GB drive and designated the 1TB drive as the repository.

All looks good until I look in Xencenter and there is no local disks listed, only the CDROM.  In this situation, I cannot set up any VMs.

Has anyone run across this issue?
