    Accepted Solution

    Go to Dells website and download the drivers from there.

    After you are done downloading them and you still are having issues run chkdsk on your laptop, seeing as how it is older it is possible that you are having actual i/o read problems:

    1. Start -> Run
    2. Open -> 'cmd'
    3. In the command prompt type 'chkdsk'

    We will know the issue was your HDD when you get back the report from the chkdsk, 0 means no errors, 1 means errors were found and fixed, 2 disk cleanup was not preformed beacuse /f was not specified, and 3 is the bad one, it is that errors were found and the problems could not be fixed.
