It is a simple process but too lengthy to write in a post. Try this tutorial. I think it will cover what you'll need to accomplish.

I noticed that in your logo there are some smaller objects that you may want to adjust separately from the larger logo. You need to copy and paste each object into its own layer, then use the color adjustment on each layer.

Here is a tutorial on copying and pasting in Photoshop.

If you are a new Photoshop user, a great thing is the vast amount of free tutorials on the net. If I'm trying to accomplish something I have not tried before, the first place I search is youtube. That will generally move me into the direction I need. If not, then a Google search will almost always find a tutorial on the subject in question.

Of course posting your question here will get you a link that is specific to your question and save you the time of wading through unrelated material.

I think that this is the easiest way to accomplish what you want to do: Macromedia Fireworks - How to Change the Color of an Imported Object
Select "Filters," "Adjust Color" and "Hue/Saturation" from the main menu. The Hue/Saturation dialog will appear with three sliders, "Hue," "Saturation" and "Lightness." If your object is in black and white or grayscale, click the "Colorize" box. Click the "Preview" box.

Sorry. What I meant was in your logo, at the bottom right, there are three small spheres. If you wanted to adjust their color individually, then you would need to cut and paste each one into a new layer, then make the color adjustment to each layer.

phoenixunlimited: yes I will havce to cut and paste each one

paulsauve: when in firework I am able to select and adjust the filter but it gives a funky color display nothing I can really use.

I havce attached my color scheme. How do I adjust the picture to reflect it?

You can not accomplish what you're asking in one step. You'll need to do this in two steps. In photoshop, you'll need to use the quick selection tool and select all of the darker red color in your logo. After selecting the area, use the same method from my first post to adjust the color to your color schemes darker blue. You'll then need to repeat the process with the lighter gold color. This takes a little time, patience and practice but it is worth it because you'll find yourself doing this often and it's a good Photoshop skill to have learned.

This tutorial covers all the brushes you can use to make a selection. Focus on the quick selection tool. Really useful information for any project.

I had some extra time, so I went through the process myself. Some notes that might be helpful.

1) When working on changing the dark blue. After I made the hue adjustments, I also needed to make a levels adjustment to get the hue correct.

2) When working on changing the lighter blue. I needed to make two separate hue adjustments. One adjustment to the yellow and one adjustment to the red. Additionally, I needed to make a levels adjustment to get the correct light hue.

A tutorial on adjusting levels. Another useful skill to know.

I've added my PSD. It was made in Photoshop Elements. You should be able to open it and review the adjustable layers.
