Please clarify the WIN7 machines have been added to the domain? If so are you logging into the workstation local or the domain?

With Windws Vista and later the root directory c:\ is a protected folder, you can copy to subdirectories off of c:\ just not to C:\

    other protected areas
    $recycle bin
    \Program Files
    \Program Files (x86)

    Accepted Solution

Thank you, everything works fine after rejoin the workstation to domain.
