excel worksheet

I have an excel workbook (attached). I've been trying to do a calendar drop down to select date in this format "Monday, August 27, 2012"  but have not been successfull at all.  Also I want to be able to add "time in" + "time out" + luch time (static, 1/2,1,2 hours) = Total hours.

any help would be greatly appreciated.  file is attached. it's all fictious data/names.

I have excel 2010.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Is this what you were looking for?

Also, I think the calculation of Total Hours should be Time Out - Time In. If they are having lunch between those times, then it should be inclusive.

Example: In is 8AM, out is 5PM with lunch of 1 hour. Total hours would be 10 instead of 9.

yeah as far as the time... but how do i do a drop down date picker to show exactly the way it is now?
Elton PascuaCommented:
Were you referring to the lunch column? Just put a list validation as 0.5, 1, 2.
Anthony H.Author Commented:
no that's fine the way it is... i just subtract the lunch value.

but i can't get it to work. can you help?
Elton PascuaCommented:
I'm not sure if the control would show on your end, if not, you might want to follow the instructions on how to get it installed.
