Hello there,

I need to customize what users see in their All Programs when launch Citrix Full Desktop connected to XA 6.5 server (on W2K8 R2 OS).

I do not want user to see Administrative Tools, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Thin Print Engine and Accessories in their All Programs and on left hand side.

Attached is the screenshot.

Please advise, how should I go about?

Thanks and Regards.

Here you can find different ways of disabling admin tools and common folders using GPO, registries etc.

The start menu icons are in %systemdrive%\programdata\microsoft\start menu\programs.

For the Admin tools, you can use a GPO to hide them from users.  For your regular apps, delete the icons from the above location.

If you are using the GPO, be sure you exclude your admins from it, or use a higher priority policy to give it back to them.
