Install remote agent on Symantec BackupExec

When pushing the remote agent to another server, is it possible to specify which LAN address is used for the backup job ? I have two LAN card on the Media server and remote server and I want to dedicate a LAN card for data backup.

The only way I know to do it would be to set up a host file with the remote server name and the IP you wanted to use entered on it. The system checks the host file before the network.
