Lync 2010 - IM an Expert - Bot.exe Failing to Connect to SQL Server

Last week I was assigned the task of integrating IM an Expert into our Lync 2010 environment, however; I'm having some difficulty.  I'm continuing to have trouble overcoming an obstacle when registrying the bot.  When I run the executable, it seems to begin the process without issues, but when it comes to establishing a connection with the SQL server, it fails.  I spent the better part of day deliberating and attempting to overcome this obstacle, but since I'm new to IM an Expert and Lync, I'm out of ideas.

It looks to be the issue with multiple nic's . please go thru this post even though it belongs to OCS 2007 but same can be induced here in your env.

I appreicate your efforts to help, truly, but I've read this one as well...we only have a single NIC on the server.
DrivelFreeAuthor Commented:
I previously attempted all suggested potential solutions.  However, since IM an Expert is very much in its infancy, there is only so much knowledge available, therefore, all should get credit for the effort.
