Debug Error in MS Word 2003

I just installed Adobe Acrobat and when I try to open MS Word 2003 I get an error.

The error says:

Microsoft Visual C++ debug library
Debug Error
Abnormal program termination


I tried different solutions from MS Office help but nothing seems to work

any help??

This is for Viso but same applies to Word
