Scripts not working in CMAK for 32-bit Windows 7

I've got a CMAK VPN connection I created on Windows Server 2008 R2 and everything works as expected. The logon script to map drives works and the logoff script to remove them works. I installed CMAK on a Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit computer to generate a 32-bit installer and used same scripts and settings, but logon script is not mapping drives properly. Testing with non-domain computers, the 64-bit computer is asking for logon to server to start mapping drives. The 32-bit computer does not do this, the script appears to complete, but no drives show up in Explorer. Checking net use, all drives show up as unavailable. All scripts are batch files running net use commands. If all the settings are the same, why do I have a problem with the 32-bit version? Any ideas on resolution?

    Accepted Solution

Just found a difference in my test machines, 32-bit had not had Windows 7 SP1 applied yet where the 64-bit one had. Will try installing SP1 and see how it works.

Let us know. SP1 has been out for a while and it made a number of changes to Windows 7. I do not use CMAK, but I do use NCP Secure Entry and it is interchangeable 64-bit vs 32-bit.

Thanks for the update. SP1 was a critical update for Windows 7, so that all sounds good.
