Folders and SubFolders permission - server 2003
Hello,
Not sure if this is the proper place to post this question.
I have few hundred folders and subfolders (Server 2003)
I add users to these folders regularly.
some users will be read only - Some write Only - some Both.
when I right click on the main folder/properties/securiti es / highlight the user/ advanced / I put a check mark on allow inheritable permission .....
The user is able to enter and view the main folder, (not the sub folders), in order to be able to view the sub folders, I need to go into each sub folder and add the new user.
is there any command I can use that will give permission to folders and sub folders.
Your help is appreciated.

No - as long as they are set to inherit (default) they will get what is assigned to the folder above.
