How to book rooms/resources on behalf of others as an admin

Hi
This has surely been answered but still I haven't found an accurate answer.
We are moving from a booking system in lotus to exchange 2010. There is no way to automate the moving of existing booked resources on the lotus db to exchange so I need to manually recreate all the bookings.
How could I as an admin recreate the bookings so that the result would be as if the user it self created the booking.

Any preferred way to do this?

Why not give yourself "Full Mailbox Access" and "SendAs" rights to everyones mailbox and work with Outlook adding them all rather then OWA as it will expire after sometime and you have to relogin everytime ..

Simplify Active Directory Administration

Administration of Active Directory does not have to be hard.  Too often what should be a simple task is made more difficult than it needs to be.The solution?  Hyena from SystemTools Software.  With ease-of-use as well as powerful importing and bulk updating capabilities.

Seems you are looking to re-populate the bookings from the previous system?

If yes then you can try exporting previous booking data to PST and importing to the new one...but there might be complications if these are two different domain names used here

Yes I need to re-populate the bookings from the previous system but I can't export to PST because the previous system is a Lotus Notes database so I need to literary type the bookings for every user on outlook 2010

You might want to go for some third party tool. Few available free and few would cost. Something similar to the one stated in below article. See if this helps and let know

That is not an option. The lotus notes database is a non standard calendar database so no go with third party tools.

I just want to know how I can create the bookings for my users.

Well then the option is giving yourself SendAs rights over the user mailbox on whose behalf you want to create the meeting\booking. Log into OWA followed by that user's email address and set up the meetings as per need
