How to restore HyperV VMs when host OS reinstalled?

We had to rebuild our HyperV host machine. The VMs were stored on a different drive in the same server. After rebuilding it I can browse and see all the VMs. How do I bring them back up online? Server 2008 R2 SP1

    Use the Import option Browse to the folder location to Find VMs.

    Create new VMs with existing VHDs - to preserve the configurations also follow the manual steps in Option 2 of the following article:
