Using VS C# is there a way to display a record counter as you read through a dataset and perform operations? I do not want to get as involved as using backgroundworker. I just simply want to display a record counter as processes occur in the background. Any sample code would be appreciated.

VS Display Record Counter

C# is an object-oriented programming language created in conjunction with Microsoft’s .NET framework. Compilation is usually done into the Microsoft Intermediate Language (MSIL), which is then JIT-compiled to native code (and cached) during execution in the Common Language Runtime (CLR).
