SCCM uninstall Lync client - requires custom xml file

Does anyone know how to get an sccm package to deploy to a client so that it will uninstall the MS Lync client?  The trick is that this requires a custom xml file from what I have found and my problem is that for users not on the network either lan or over vpn than the client won't uninstall as it requires the xml file and the client can't reach the file share I have the xml file on remotely, so I tried to get it to copy locally, but that is failing.

How was it installed originally? Using a fileshare?

Use any of following methods to
use same sccm package used for installation and in command line type:

 lyncsetup.exe /Uninstall

you can use following batch file in GPO startup script

MsiExec.exe /qb /X{81BE0B17-563B-45D4-B198-5721E6C665CD}

 or use vbs file with following

strComputer = "."
Set objWMIService = GetObject("winmgmts:" _
    & "{impersonationLevel=impersonate}!\\" & strComputer & "\root\cimv2")
Set colSoftware = objWMIService.ExecQuery _
    ("Select * from Win32_Product Where Name = 'Microsoft Lync 2010'")
For Each objSoftware in colSoftware

These fail to remove the client, thanks though.
