had a win xp pc. wanted to assign the user (with power user rights) to run defragment. however, we are not encouraged to create local admin accounts on the pc. is there any other ways to do it?

i tried to setup a schedule to run..

under run: c:\windows\system32\dfg.msc
start in: c:\windows\system32\

when i run this schedule under administrator, the defrag can run and show up the defrag page. When run under power user logon, the status show it is running but in fact not.
when editing something on the task scheduler:
'an error has occurred while attempting to set task account information. The specific error is 0x80070005: access denied. you do not have permission to perform the requested operation'
