I assumed by &quot;designer surface&quot; you mean anywhere adjacent to the existing Data Adapter and Data Table.<br />

When I right click, the &quot;Add&quot; menu shows the following items:<br />
<br />
&nbsp; &nbsp;TableAdapter...<br />
&nbsp; &nbsp;DataTable<br />
&nbsp; &nbsp;Query...<br />
&nbsp; &nbsp;Relation...<br />
<br />
I clicked on TableAdapter and that initiated a Wizard that did the job.

Hi Experts,
