I was talking about Sharepoint Online as a part of Office 365 and not about on-premises version. <br />

I used adapters from codeplex for on-premises version and it worked fine.<br />
When I tried to use same adapters to connect to Sharepoint Online it didn't work.<br />
I wonder if it's possible?

it seems that the Codeplex Connection Manager can not handle the custom login. I will have a look and perhaps I can modify the source to implement the custom login handling (which would also be necessary if you use claims / Forms Based Auth).<br />
