GPO Power Plan - Missing Vista and later setting

Hi,

I wish to set some power settings in a GPO.

This is what I am expecting to see

This is on a win2008 DC.  Any ideas why this option is not available?

Hi,

sometimes it is problem with conosole or with verzion of domain.

Try it from your Windows vista or 7 using RSAT

I accessed it directly from the Win2008 DC.  That should be ok right?

Yes but sometimes internal console dont have everitihng in the console. I had same problem but configuring another thing. But managment pack hepl me out. Becouse it conect directly to your server but form your windwos 7.

Found it.

Will any changes appear in the DC console? or do all changed from this point have to be via the remote tool?

Just to checking that Domain Function level is set to Windows 2008 or 2008R2
