Nothing ever in the clear!

This technical paper will help you implement VMware’s VM encryption as well as implement Veeam encryption which together will achieve the nothing ever in the clear goal. If a bad guy steals VMs, backups or traffic they get nothing.

Ensure that your DNS suffix list set in your adapters is correct.

If not then remove the wrong dns suffix search lists in the DNS adapters. Then deselect the adapters from registering in DNS and delete all references to the wrong dns suffix under HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\tcp.

After doing this ensure to reselect the adapters to register in DNS.

HI,

I applied this fix & it seems to have worked.

Fix1: Just unblock the firewall rule "Network Discovery (LLMNR-UDP-In)" in the active profile. The DNS Cache service will not stop on idle if you enable this rule.
