DNS client service stopping and starting
My DNS client service is constantly entering a stopped and running state on my Win2008R2 server and I cant figure out why? Is this a know issue, is there some where I can look to figure out why it's stopping and starting like this?

It's service pack 1
The link includes hotfixes that you may need to apply post SP1. Please check the list to see if you may need to apply any of them.
Ensure that your DNS suffix list set in your adapters is correct.
If not then remove the wrong dns suffix search lists in the DNS adapters. Then deselect the adapters from registering in DNS and delete all references to the wrong dns suffix under HKLM\system\currentcontrol set\servic es\tcp.
After doing this ensure to reselect the adapters to register in DNS.
