Cisco UCS 8.6 - Add 91 to only missed calls, placed calls, etc directories
To dial out at our company, we have to dial 9. When calls were coming in, they were just 10 digit numbers without a 9. So I added 91 to the incoming calling party settings at the gateway level. I figured this would work out well and everyone would be able to just hit dial when they went to missed calls, etc.
Two issues though:
1) People starting complaining that the 91 was showing up in caller id. This one I thought they would just get used to so I basically ignored it.
2) Now the 91 shows up in the number in the caller id for our voicemail system. So users used to be able to just dial the number on their cell phones but now they have the opposite problem. They cant dial on the cell phones without removing the 91.
Is there anywhere to add this where it only shows up in the missed calls directories and nowhere else or is there no solution to this?

Will that only work for missed calls? How about received calls, placed calls, etc?

Ok I thought it worked. It works if I add the CSS to the calling party transformation pattern on the phone. If I do it on the gateway for all of the phones, it doesnt work. I unchecked the "Use device pool calling party transformation css" and that didnt change anything. Is it possible I have to do something on my gateway for it to read this translation? It is an h.323 gateway.
you can put it on device pool
simply create new partition and CSS to calling_Xfer
then create Transformation Pattern
last thing assign the CSS to the voice gateway on the inboud calling then it will appear only on the missed call.
Thanks
