What is the size of OST if any also how many PST's attached ?
Do they face the same issue with OWA ?
Hope the Outlook is upgraded to the latest SP and updates ? If not thats the first thing we should do :)

@Rancy
Outlook is being upgraded to 2010 from 2007, they can use OWA just fine. Only one PST not sure the size of the OST's. There are now more than the two described above.

@Motaz_mohamed
Haven't had a chance to try the solution from that KB. Will do soon and let you know what happens.

Version of Exchange ... Outlook updated with most recent updates ?
User are normal MAPI or POP or IMAP ?
If OST is corrupted such issues are notice able .... so we try with Outlook profile creation :)
If option can also move mailbox to another database to remove any Mailbox corruption

Yes I have the most recent version of Outlook, we MAPI. We are in the process of migrating to O365 and hosted exchange. Do you think that when this user is migrated it will fix the problem?

Ideally this problem occurs with corrupted Mailbox \ OST or PST ..... if your moving to Office365 do take out PST but prefere to use them attached to Outlook and use.

If there is Online migration it wouldnt carry the corruption so that would be Good :)

It is on going. We started a couple of days ago and it will be going for a while. I'm going to see if we can get one of them migrated tonight, but I'm not the one in charge of when that happens.

I agree such decisions are made at upper mgmt level. However as you have started moving with the plan is good ..... will await your update :)

Okay, it took a while but I finally figured out what the problem was. It was still happening after they were migrated so I started checking to see if it was a plug-in. Turns out it was a PDF converter called Nuance. Removing the Plug-in from Outlook fixed the issue. They can still use Nuance on their desktops, they just can't have the Outlook plug-in.

It ended up being a plug-in that was causing the problem, migrating the users did not help.
