you can add class to image while adding on articles for example

custom_image_class

then define

.custom_image_class{
width:320px !important;
height:240px !important;
padding: 10px;
border: 1px solid #EEE !important;
background: white !important;
box-shadow: 0 2px 4px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1) !important;
}

in your template.css file.

Perhaps there is a misunderstanding. The image that appears in the website looks too big..simply want to resize it.
I've edited the following file in the template that we currently using:
template.css in the directory css
Is this the correct file.
However the class list associated with the image doesn't list  .custom_image_class

This is where added code:(right at top of file)

/* CloudBase 2.0 overrides for Gantry Framework */

/*Custom: add by Shaun*/

.custom_image_class{
width:320px !important;
height:240px !important;
padding: 10px;
border: 1px solid #EEE !important;
background: white !important;
box-shadow: 0 2px 4px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1) !important;
}

/* Basic styles */
body {color: #333;}
#rt-header, #rt-bottom {color: #333333;}
.rt-container {background: #fff;}
.rt-article a{text-decoration: underline;}
a:hover {color: #000; text-decoration: none;}
#rt-footer, #rt-copyright, #rt-copyright a {color: #333333;}
#rt-sidebar-a {background-color: transparent;}
#rt-sidebar-b {background-color: transparent;}
#rt-sidebar-c {background-color: transparent;}
#gantry-viewswitcher {margin: 0 auto 1em;position: relative;}
#rt-accessibility .button{
      padding: 0px;

I've tried to add to image in Article manager, but the custom_image_class doesn't appear in the dropdown list.

Added custom_image_class manually to Advanced tab and worked, tx. Just to understand. Is the code applied when the picture loads, or when saving the changes to the picture. ie if I change the code in future will the changes be applied to the picture when it loads again?

What does css stand for please?

PS We looking for a descent business template to use - do you have any sites to suggest please?
