I just downloaded Sql server 2008 r2 express and upgraded from sql server 2005 express.<br />
<br />
For some reason, I can't connect to the sqlexpress server name on my local machine (laptop). &nbsp;Here is the error I get:<br />

I just downloaded Sql server 2008 r2 express and upgraded from sql server 2005 express.

For some reason, I can't connect to the sqlexpress server name on my local machine (laptop).  Here is the error I get:
