VMWare, nultiple apps

When you have the same application in several VM's, what is the process called that will allow changes in the configuration in one app to automatically cascade to the apps in the other VM's

Which of these is the standard method of have a change on 1 app within a VM trickle down to the other VM's ?

There is a product and feature called VMware FT?

Any chance that occurs on one VM is replicated to another VM, in realtime, if the first VM falls over or goes off the second VM takes over.
