How to convert a numeric value into English words in Excel

Hello Experts,

Title sounds very familiar to everyone, isn't?

Currently I am using SpellNumber from Microsoft exchange support as below which returns numerical value 1,478,525.76 to "One Million Four Hundred Seventy Eight Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Five Dollars and Seventy Six Cents".  Is there a way to return result as " US$ One Million Four Hundred Seventy Eight Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Five & 76/100 Only"?

You can split your original value on the period; then you can pass only the whole part to your SpellNumber function. Concatenate that result to the other strings.

e.g.

Dim parts = Split(number, ".")
Dim spelled = SpellNumber(parts(0))
Dim partial = parts(1) & "/100 Only"
Dim result = "US$ " & Replace(spelled, "Dollars", "") & " AND " & partial

kaufmed - I cannot split this because whatever numerical values in the cell is the total invoice value to be paid.

Rancy -  I did mentioned "Currently I am using SpellNumber from Microsoft exchange support", again you sent me the same link

Martin - Last post of your's almost close, its resulting out " US$ One Million Four Hundred Seventy Eight Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Five Dollars 76/100", I am already using US$ at the beginning secondly "&" is missing for cents and "Only" is missing at the end. I did corrected for "Only" now its shows as " US$ One Million Four Hundred Seventy Eight Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Five & 76/100 Only"?
