Dear expert:<br />

We are going to purchase Office 365 E3 plan.<br />
However we don't want to give certain department exchange online but we will give them office professional plus on their computers and accounts.<br />
<br />
My understanding is that all users must have exchange online account.<br />
I am wondering if we can create user accounts without granting them access to exchange online. &nbsp;But they can still login the cloud to use sharepoint, Lync and 2010 Office professional plus.<br />

Any other recommendations!<br />

Office 365 is a group of software plus services subscriptions that provides productivity software and related services to its subscribers. Office 365 allows the use of Microsoft Office apps on Windows and OS X, provides storage space on Microsoft's cloud storage service OneDrive, and grants 60 Skype minutes per month.
