"Mandatory" Redirected Desktop - How to set permission on the shared folder

Currently have many kids receiving the same desktop via redirected folder.  Each user's desktop is redirected to \\Server\Desktop share.

What permissions should I use on this folder if I only want the desktop work hold shortcuts and NOT allow the users to add any additional icons or save any documents?
