Modifying a GIF Image
I have a gif image (see attached). I would like to modify it so that it only says:
MURAP Student Application
Coming Soon!
instead of what it is saying now. In other words, I want all the text on the image removed except for the above two lines. I would like the color scheme and everything else to stay the same.
What is the easiest way to make these changes?

use Paint or try Gimp (www.gimp.org)
open it with paint, fill/erase all text except the ones u need, and then add text tool and add text, save as gif...

If I erase the text, won't it also remove the background color?
