Just needing some help with troubleshooting slow login times on Windows 2003 Terminal Services.
We have 3 terminal servers and user logins can take anywhere from 1 minute 30 seconds to 3 minutes before they fully reach the desktop.

    Accepted Solution

    Things that slow down logins:
    1) roaming or big user profiles
    2) group policies that install software, assign printers, map drives.
    3) a very busy server with little free memory.

Try creating a new user with no roaming profile, and make sure it is in an OU with nothing more than the default Group policy and see how long that takes to log in.
