CITRIX Username Issue

Hi,

we are having issued with Citrix server. We know the solution but to make changes we must logon to Citrix server with the same user name that was used to install and configure Citrix at first place.

We dont remember what username was used. Unfortunately default "administrator" account was not used.

Is there any way to find out what account has permission to access Citrix Managment Console and Licensing Console ?

When we open it, it tells us we didnt authenticate correctly and must use the same account that was used to confgiure at first place.

Server is on the Domain and it has been running for last 3 years without issues.
we already tried all the local administrators account but it didnt work.

Any ideas ?

Did you try with a domain account which has Citrix admin privileges?

If this doesn't work, can you post the exact error message you receive and any event messages in the event log of the server.

The issue is related to licensing and we know how to fix it. Also we need to change few things from CMC. However, To Access CMC and LS, it tells to authenticate with the correct account.

I guess we selected MS ACCESS as datastore. SQL is not there.

Is it possible I can find any group on Citrix Server  that has CITRIX Admin privileges ?

I can then add local administrator account or any other domain account to that group and get access ?
First make sure when u install first citrix , are they join to domain or local a/c or local admin ?

If it joined domain as member server  , then use domain administrator and then try reset the local admin password or any local a/c on the server .
The Citrix admin group will most probably be an Active Directory security group which is made a member of the Citrix admin in the Citrix Delivery Console/AppCenter management consoles. Look for any security group name in Active Directory that might tell of its nature.

Already checked the AD , there is nothing related to Citrix Admin.
We dont even remember if it was part of Domain at the time of citrix installation.

Is  there any way we can overwrite the user access of the farm and configure it so that it allow us to use any other account ?
