Hi Experts,
I am trying to change the location of my CUCM backups. The backup device is a network share. the file path is the same so all i should have to do is change the ip address of the device. When i do this it just hangs forever and eventually reverts back to the original IP.
The security settings on the backup folder permit the CUCM backup account admin access. Do i need to stop backup services or something?

Well you may want to restart the DRF Master and Local services first, but, what happens if you delete your current backup device, and then readd it? would it let you do that? If so, it may not be a CM problem but a SFTP problem. We can troubleshoot that once you confirm.
