Checkpoint mobile access / SSL extender

I have been setting up Checkpoint mobile access and looking at the "Native Application" policies. And have got RDP working fine apart from the DNS element of it.

So if I connect in via the SSL portal, and start up  the SSL Network Extender, I can open up my RDP client and using an IP address connect to the internal devices (limited to the range of IP's I have set in the portal)

but what I can do is use the remote machines hostname.domain.com formate to connect.

how can I set it up so that DNS requests are passed to the internal DNS servers so I can use host names rather than ip's?

Oh never just me being stupid, needed to add DNS as a service in the native applications so that the traffic was passed.

I am sure there are other ways around this as well, but this seems to work fine for now :)

If you want DNS to work over the SSL network extender, then simply add the DNS service as a native app and be sure to include all the DNS severs and apply it to the policy.
