Hey Guys,

I have a Vivotek camera that I want to make accessible through our firewall. Can any body send me instructions as to how i can do that? The camera is a Vivotek FD8134 while the watchguard firewall is an XTM 2 Series.

Thanks loads in advance.

through your firewall from the internet?

you'll need to know what the camera's IP is and what port it's listening on.

What you are trying to do, essentially, is set up access to an internal web server (your camera in this case) from the internet.

So here's a guide :

I followed the steps provided replacing my own IP Addresses with the ones provided in the example. Apparently, I am able to access the web page of the camera from the public IP Address but the video is not visible. I have the codec for the player (Quicktime). Another thing i must mention is that once i make these changes, the internal network internet connection drops and i am unable to browse. Alittle help here please.
