ie 8 windows 7 gpedit.msc

Is it possible to block all website's - and then just allow one or two sites using gpedit.msc in windows 7 that has ie 8?

Hmmmmm no. Group policy is not a web filtering tool. Instead you can go for Microsoft Threat Management Gateway or ISA Firewall to achieve and design content filtering the way you want.

Still there is something i have for you. Give it a try. I tried it, it works but secure with the password and restriction on internet options. But again it doesn't apply on third party browser like Firefox or Chrome.

nice - I like that solution - however, in the environment I'm in now it's not practical - but it is definitely something I could use in other situations. Thanks for the help.

Yeah but than again make sure you don't allow users to install third party internet browsers and strictly only IE will keep up your requirement.
