Windows 8 will not resolve IP address until reboot of machine???
I just put Windows 8 on a new laptop. Every works well, less one issue.
When I connect to a new network, whether Wired or Wireless, the laptop will not resolve and IP address. I receive a 169 address. I can release and renew but still get a 169 address. I can even set a static address and no connection. I can ping 127 loopback.
A reboot of the machine causes everything to work properly. The IP resolves and works well from that point on.
Is this a Windows 8 issue???
Running Windows 8 Pro, Version 6.2 (build 9200) with all current updates
