Installing safari on windows 7

Hi Experts,

I am trying to download and install safari for testing web based app.
I visited a few sites, but I couldn't find pure safari down load site.(the downloads come with extra stuff.)

where can I download and install pure safari only?

Well normally from the apple website. But they won't provide safari any longer for Windows. So if you want it, you need to download it from a site with all the extra's. But pay attention, it will never be the latest version of Safari.

Apple wants safari only usable om Mac OS X.

Click "Download latest version" on the top right.

That's the latest you can get for Windows I believe.
Apple has removed all mention of Safari for Windows from their webpage, so it's clear they aren't supporting it anymore.

But I did find this hotlink directly to Apple.com which still appears to work, and has no extra junk bundled in:

How long this link will stay up for, however, is anybody's guess.

This is Safari 5.1.7, the latest version available for Windows but still an old version compared to Safari 6 for mac.
Yes, Safari always included all the extra junk, one of many reasons I never use it.

Not to mention the installs Safari would sneak into updates...
You should be able to install the app, uncheck some of the installs and then uninstall all the other software that came with it. You might get errors about Bonjour and Apple Updates, but it should still run for what you are doing.

That used to work for me. Might have changed.
