Exchange 2010 Send As

Hello:

I am running Exchange Server 2010.   I have a Dist Group called "HR" which goes to multiple people.

Is there a way to have a user send from Outlook, where the Sender can be HR@yourcompany.com , rather then the regular email address?

Thanks,
D

You can also use powershell:

Add-ADPermission 'HR' -ExtendedRights Send-As -User <user>

Don't forget to replace the user.

Yes but not preferred .....

Get-DistributionGroup -Identity "HR" | Add-ADPermission -User "User you want to give right on DL"-ExtendedRights SendAs

Rancy's suggestion is the Microsoft official recommendation.
