I have windows 7 VM running on esxi host. i would like to play it on vmware player.

How can i archive this.

can someone assist.

File > Export to OVF

or, a better way is to use VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 5.0

i have VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 4.3

how do i use this tool to get the file.

i did export as OVF file. can i open it with vmware player now

I do not believe VMware have included the Import OVF function in VMware Player, you will need to use Converter.
