windows update fails

I am using MSCE2010 for my windows updates, and I have a mixed group of XP's and Win7's.
So far, only 1 win 7 laptop is having issues. Looks like every update fails to install.  I've attached a screenshot.

I did a gpupdate /force, to make sure it received the newest GP updates.

I ran a few fixes for the updates, but it's still not working.

Any ideas why?

What were these, and did you run the System Readiness Tool?

http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=20858 for X64
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=3132 for x86

Also try the following:

Set the Automatic Update on the machine to OFF or Manual. Shut down, restart and try to update manually. Does that work?  If so, turn Auto Update back on.

thinkpads user,

sorry, this was one of them:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20858

Also, it was 3.bat files to run, but I can't find that website anymore.
There was also 1 microsoft fix-it website, but I can't find the exact links anymore.

It just started working by itself now is what the user said, so that's very strange.
