This is what I am looking for in a WordPress plugin:

* Customer Login / User Management

* Dedicated Pages for each user

* Documents:
Specific to the user

* Images or Gallary (Albums & Descriptions)
Specific to the user

* Misc. Dynamic Pages

    The requirements are a little too broad for any one plugin to solve it all.  Technically, WordPress in Network Mode could do what you want where each user gets their own WordPress instance and you can place content on a per-instance basis but that may be overkill.

    * Customer Login / User Management

    This is built-in to WordPress.  What additional functionality are you looking for?

    * Dedicated Pages for each user

    Profile pages or content specific to the user?

    * Documents: Specific to the user

    Look into Client Document Monitoring:

    * Images or Gallary (Albums & Descriptions) Specific to the user

    What's the overall goal for this one?

    * Misc. Dynamic Pages

    Too vague to get a meaningful answer.

    Here is the response I received back:

    To try and be a bit more specific, it might be easier to understand our needs if I describe how we envision it working (in non-geek and non-artistic language):

    We need a link on our website for a customer to log into, so that they can see “stuff” we post for them.  The “stuff we post” can be limited to photos and/or documents.  The documents can all be in .pdf format, so we can, if we need to, limit the “stuff” to .jpg and .pdf formats.

    A “customer/project login” button should be somewhere on our website.
    This login will take them to the information on their specific project (Information on their project may contain photos and .pdf documents.  Basically, this could be as simple as:

    If they click on photos, they get a list of photos they can view by clicking to open
    If they click on Documents, they get a list of documents they can view by clicking on them to open.

    We could have as many as a dozen or so specific logins / projects at any one time, but right now our real need is for 3 or 4, and if we could get it up and running for even 1 right now, that would be a victory.

    “Miscellaneous dynamic pages” sounds like a lot of custom programming, so I’m not sure what Vicki is referring to, and that isn’t something that is necessary right now.  We don’t need great flexibility, just the ability to let our customers see specific, filtered, “stuff” that we post for them.

    Okay, I would really look hard at:

    for the file management.  The rest of it is really just leveraging the built-in features.
