You cannot use the same computer name on any Windows computer in the DOMAIN.

All computers must have a UNIQUE computer name.

Remove the computer name from AD then join the new computer to the domain with the older name

if computer is called ABC , remove it from the domain correctly (change it to workgroup rather than domain)

once removed and no longer showing in ADUC, rename the new machine to be ABC and then add it to the domain

An option would be taking an exact (with for instance Acronis: http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/) and putting it back to the new computer. It will take all settings and data.
