This is using Symantec Netbackup 7.x server. There are few new VMware VMs, all are MS Windows 2008 R2 servers, are going live in a week's time. My management want us to schedule the backup for these VMs.I being told that using Netbackup's bare metal restore, all servers should able be restored, but how? Please show step-by-step.

Thanks in advance.

The first question would be are you licensed for it? BMR is a separate license, like many Symantec products. There is an entire set up process for installing and setting up the backups. Attached is the BMR administration guide with how to install, configure, backup, and restore.
